September was an industrious month at the Scientific American blog network. We welcomed a new set of writers to the ‘Food Matters‘ blog, and many other regulars jumped onto the topic of food as well. One of the most popular posts this month was about ‘lost’ trigonometry functions (author Evelyn Lamb was inspired by a false story in The Onion), and we learned a lot from Hilda Bastian about just what goes on in our skin to create acne.
