I soon realized that I needed the right tools, so I went out and spent a little money getting a proper sketchbook and investing in some markers.
I'm feeling better about my results. I like to prepare for the scribing by reading the abstract of the talk and setting up the page, adding the title and some basic illustrations to the page.
My sketch notes aren't as dramatic as Lalsox's but then again, I wasn't a big time artsy-doodler to begin with. It's still fun and I'll continue to do it.
