I am a big fan of the holiday known as Thanksgiving. While it has questionable historical roots, it’s now an excuse to spend the whole day cooking food, drinking good wine, and hanging out.

I am a big fan of the holiday known as Thanksgiving. While it has questionable historical roots, it's now an excuse to spend the whole day cooking food, drinking good wine, and hanging out. And you don't have to buy presents for anyone!

I've done Thanksgiving comics in the past, but this year I was thinking about all the usual Thanksgiving fare and what actual species they are. I decided to make a turkey day illustration with all the scientific names for you. Aren't you so thankful?
