Sci is finally BACK from the Society for Neuroscience meeting in New Orleans! It was a fantastic time and there was SO much science! But it's nice to be home and back on the internet where I belong.
But while I was gone, I didn't stop writing, oh no! Aside from my post here about the amazing spiny mouse, who can shed and heal its skin at a fantastic rate, I also wrote about an op-ed at the Washington Post, asking why we should force students to take chemistry. And there were TWO Friday Weird science posts! The first was on dressing to match your poster. Do it? Or Don't? Or is there no good science on this at all? Or all of the above? You decide. And finally there is today's Friday Weird Science: of tornadoes and trailer homes. Do tornadoes just have a thing for mobile home parks? Head over and find out.
