The government is standing by an earlier pledge but shied away from a hard target

Everyone has experiences happen to them that they'd rather forget about. Every so often though, you might have a reminder of that experience: perhaps someone says something to you or you see something that jogs your memory.
In a series of recent articles published in The Economist (Unreliable Research: Trouble at the Lab and Problems with Scientific Research: How Science Goes Wrong), authors warned of a growing trend in unreliable scientific research.
Nature asked 1,576 scientists for their thoughts on reproducibility. Most agree that there's a 'crisis' and over 70% said they'd tried and failed to reproduce another group's experiments.This video was reproduced with permission and was first published on May 25, 2016. The past couple posts have described some pretty severe experiments on octopuses, including: showing how octopus arms can grow back after inflicted damage and how even severed octopus arms can react to stimuli.
It took me a while to come around to garlic. Now, I find it delicious, whether powdered on pizza, fire-roasted, swirled into curries and casseroles, or chopped fresh onto french fries.
