Notes on language, memory and perception

Melody is a graduate student at Indiana University, Bloomington, pursuing a doctorate in cognitive science, with a specialization in computational linguistics. She is interested in many questions, big and small, related to language, learning, memory, power, sexuality and disorder. When not bothering about such pointy-headed things, she likes dancing, pool hopping, late drives on warm nights, novels by curious old men, films by same, and adventuring with her mischievous little brothers and golden-eyed pup. She hopes to one day win the Bulwer-Lytton contest.

Graphics credits are due to Paul, a wonderful photographer and the best father a girl could ask for. Title credits are due to Richard Feynman, and to (my) beloved friend, FB, the last great critic. Who was it that said: If they can get you asking the wrong questions, they don't have to worry about answers?
