Engaging girls in STEM: #WomeninSTEM #STEMchat March 18

|

Who are your heroes of science? Mine include Marie Curie, Roger Arliner Young and Rubye Torrey.

March is Womens History Month and I'm celebrating Women and Girls in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).

On Tuesday, March 18, 2014, 9 pm EST, I will be participating in a #STEMchat discussing #WomeninSTEM with @KitchPantrySci,

Liz Heinecke,@NGCProject, the National Girls Collaborative Project, and @KimMoldofsky aka @STEMchat, The Maker Mom and founder of #STEMchat.

We will answer questions about engaging STEM programs and activities for girls and youth, ways to engage parents and community members, and general questions about next steps to break the glass ceiling for girls and women interested in STEM careers.

I hope you are able to join us, Tuesday, March 18 at 9 pm EST. More details about the Twitter chat here: March STEMchat on Women in STEM.
