    Considering they kill more people than crocs do, I guess they are pretty close to the top of the food chain…even though they are vegetarians….

    Very definitely a bad news critter, especially if you happen to be in the way when they want to get back to the river at dawn. The good news is that one hippo can feed a lot of people and the meat is supposed to be choice . . . not that I’m likely to find out.
