For my birthday this year, a dear friend got me something she knew I'd like: a gorgeous metal cuff bracelet with the periodic table on it. Ah, she knows me well. For today's installment of Sci Art BLITZ! I wanted to introduce you to the artist that made this gorgeous piece.
Molly Spilane lives just outside Minneapolis, MN and is the owner of Etsy shop Unique Art Pendants. She has sold over 10,000 pieces on Etsy! From her shop description, "Spilane's graphic creations are known for her use of vintage illustrations, antique flora and fauna designs, and heartwarming retro images. All items are designed by Molly Spilane and all finished items are made and completed solely by Molly Spilane using a mix of commercial and handmade supplies."
