Today I’m taking a brief break from IgNobel writing (but worry not, there is MUCH more weird science to come!!), to talk about alternative careers outside of academia. I often hear people complain that they don’t KNOW anyone in alternative careers, that those people vanished into the aether. Until I left academia, I was one of those complainers. Now, I know it’s not that the people vanished…it’s that we forgot they existed. Don’t forget them. You might need them. Head over to Neurotic Physiology to check it out.
