Sci is at Neurotic Physiology today, talking about a study which takes an imaging technique one step further, allowing the authors to image beautiful nests of blood vessels…and then give them cocaine. Because the paper is about what happens to blood vessels in the brain when a powerful vasoconstrictor is applied. The results are scientifically interesting, but the pictures, it must be said, are also stunning. Head over and check it out!
