I’ve long enjoyed perusing the math photos on Patrick Honner’s and Ivars Peterson’s blogs. This is my contribution to the genre. On a beautiful July day in Munich, the afternoon sun created a perfect projection of Mauro Staccioli’s sculpture Der Ring.
