May I Present: The Science Online 2013 Music Video

So, how shall I explain this? Each year, science communicators gather in Raleigh, NC (USA) for the Science Online Unconference. The first time I attended was in 2011, and my life will never be the same. To find the people that completely understand you, that get what you are doing and why, that love what you love - it was incredibly powerful for me. The second time I attended the conference I made a music video about the experience. Why did I do it? Perhaps because I am a visual and active learner, perhaps due to my background in dance. I saw the conference in music video format, and I made it happen.

You can imagine my delight in being asked to create another music video for the conference this year. I was thrilled to do it, and I proudly present it to you today. A parody of 'Gangham Style', affectionately called 'Online Science Style'. In my humble opinion it speaks to our craziness, our passion, and our love for our work.

Thank you all, for participating, and for loving science communication as much as I do.
