Soooo....How's the Summer Science Reading Going?

|

Summer is a great time to dive into those books that either sweep us away to a new world or ask more of us since we might have some time to participate in the subject matter. I hope you have found your summer science version of that book this year, but if not, Scientific American readers have chosen three you might consider in the Summer Science Reading Poll.

Ungifted, Animal Wise and Zombie Birds, Astronaut Fish and Other Weird Animals are the three books chosen by SciAm blogs readers in the summer science reading poll.

Today at noon EDT you can join me as I host the three authors of winning books of the Summer Science Reading Poll as selected by SciAm Blogs readers in a Scientific American Google Hangout on Air. You can find us here!

Ungifted: Intelligence Redefined--The Truth about Talent, Practice, Creativity, and the Many Paths to Greatness by Scott Barry Kaufman

Animal Wise: the Thoughts and Emotions of Our Fellow Creatures by Virginia Morell

Zombie Birds, Astronaut Fish, and Other Weird Animals by Becky Crew.

Come on by and learn more about these books AND watch me have a blast doing one of my favorite things, which is to chat with science authors about their books and how they write them for your learning pleasure!

The views expressed are those of the author and are not necessarily those of Scientific American.
