A new book by the former Commander of the ISS, and a pro at social media engagement from low Earth orbit, Chris Hadfield, is due out October 2013! It is called, An Astronaut's Guide to Life On Earth.
It seems this qualifies Chris Hadfield to be a future guest for my regular Read Science! Google Hangout on Air! Could I be any more excited?! We've already had Buzz Aldrin on, so the precedent for astronaut authors is well established.
Here is a mini-trailer for more information.

"As Commander of the International Space Station, Chris Hadfield captivated the world with stunning photos and commentary from space. Now, in his first book, Chris offers readers extraordinary stories from his life as an astronaut, and shows how to make the impossible a reality."
Yes, I want this book. And, you, dear reader, have no idea the self control it took to not pepper this entire page with exclamation marks in my giddiness over this news. My heart is simply pounding.
