Photo Friday: Lights in the dark, (em)powering Nepal

Email   PrintPrint

Last fall, photographer Dan Green was documenting community libraries in Nepal when he met Sita, a library board member and the chief entrepreneur with Empower Generation. Interested in her work bringing sustainable lighting resources to homes in her community, he took some photos of some of Sita’s customers using their solar lanterns at night.

This photo was taken by Dan Green in Chitwan, Nepal and used with permission.
