About the Scientific American Blog Network
The Scientific American Blog Network (@SciAmBlogs) is a forum for a diverse and independent set of voices to share news and opinions and discuss issues related to science. Staff-written and house-run blogs, such as Observations, Guest Blog, MIND Guest Blog, Expeditions and Voices, receive editing prior to publication. Bloggers in our network are invited to write for Scientific American based on their expertise or background in a particular topic or thematic area. Network blogs are unedited, but we encourage our bloggers to seek advice and editing when needed and the blogs editor reviews all posts carefully as soon as possible after they are published. For more information see our Blog Network Guidelines.
